Bella Union announce Summer Evening @ Union Chapel

14 June 2010
By Helen True

Mountain-Man-2

Bella Union have put together a little belter of an evening at the Union Chapel on 24th June featuring some of their finest signings from recent months.  These will include long-term love of FFS Alessi’s Ark, Lone Wolf (who recently supported Aidan Moffat at the Borderline) and brand-spanking new signing Mountain Man (who are, confusingly, three ladies).

We’ve a review of Mountain Man’s new album, Made the Harbor in the FFS pipelines as I type.  John Grant recently completed the line-up for what looks to be a rather splendid summer night, replete with folk, Americana and banjoes.

Grab your £12.50 tickets here.

Impeccable musical quality aside, this gig takes place at London’s now-legendary church-come-venue, where music fans will take their pews, sip their tea and enjoy the atmospheric wonder of this Islington treasure.

Mountain Man also play Manchester’s Deaf Institute on June 22nd as well as a clutch of super summer festivals including Hard Rock Calling, Glastonbury and Nation of Shopkeepers.
