Our new session is with multi-instrumentalist Sephine Llo, with the title track from her recent album I, Your Moon.
The album has particular poignancy after the death of Sephine’s husband and musical collaborator Robert Lloyd-Wilson (of Autumn Chorus), only a few weeks after discovering they were expecting their first child. The record pays homage to Robert, who contributed backing vocals and some co-production to the album.
“The album now represents a bridge over the journey from when we found each other through our music, to the turbulent feelings that now shape my days.”
You can find I, Your Moon on Bandcamp, and keep up with Sephine on Facebook. Look out for some live dates later in the year.
