Angus and Julia Stone have revealed that their new album is almost complete. Speaking in a radio interview with BBC 6Music the brother and sister duo said they had nearly finished working on the album, which they had been recording at Sawmills studio in Cornwall.

Folk club night Communion has announced the line-up for the first show of 2009. The gig on 4th January, organised by Kevin Jones of Cherbourg and Ben Lovett of Mumford and Sons, will feature FFS darlings Peggy Sue alongside Ark People, Sam MacCarthy, Sons of Noel and Adrian and Thomas J Speight. Still Flyin’ announce London shows

Californian 15-piece Still Flyin’ have announced three London shows for the new year.

The band, who have been joined on stage in the past by FFS-favourite Jens Lekman, are currently recording their debut record Never Gonna Touch The Ground, which is due for release in April.
