Folks, it’s pretty obvious we’re spoiling you with this barrage of daily treats as the Advent Calendar continues, but there just aren’t enough days in December for all of the stuff we got together. Among the late entries we wanted to find room for was this lovely track from Adam Cleaver, so we figured, what the heck, let’s just make an extra door! ‘The Wren’ is inspired by a birdsong native to South America and the call-and-response style used by the birds. “It was a track recorded initially as part of the Man or Beast EP sessions that we didn’t include on the EP, but we had been looking for a reason to share it and this was the perfect opportunity,” Adam said. He’ll be releasing new material early next year so stay tuned.
