Albums from Nurnberg’s The Green Apple Sea never arrive in a hurry – 10 years separated 2000’s debut All Over The Place and LP number three, 2010’s Northern Sky, Southern Sky, and so nobody should think number four is imminent just because they’ve offered up two new songs this week. Indeed, the untitled record is instead scheduled for 2014. Until then, we’ll have to make do with these latest offerings. ‘One Of A Million’ comes only in the form of a rather rough recording apparently made in a lift, so we’ll focus instead on the more complete ‘Please Slow Down’, which delivers their well-tested formula of sweet melodies and pretty harmonies warmly delivered.
