The Moulettes

They Say: The moulettes are a folk-stomping barn-storming swingin’ quintet, and are available for bookings in… barns, fields, tents and taverns, churches, castles, caves and caverns, dens of iniquity, jukebox dives, havens of pleasure, splendour and vice… Featured in their orchestra of absurdity are a cello, a bassoon, guitars, violin, viola, autoharp, kazoo, trombone, drums and 5-part harmonies. Their songs are narrative driven alliterative epics of depravity, decadence and delirious devastation, and they deliver a rollicking, resounding live set when called upon. They are part of the southampton based co-operative label, Sotones.
