News | Neutral Milk Hotel announce comeback tour

Neutral Milk HotelSeminal 90s indie stars Neutral Milk Hotel have announced a series of reunion shows for the end of the year.

The Athens, Georgia quartet, whose classic 1998 album In The Aeroplane Over The Sea was fourth in Pitchfork’s top 100 albums of the 1990s, will play three American shows in October and dates in Asia in November and December, with the promise of more to come.

The band went on hiatus soon after In The Aeroplane was released and have not played together as a foursome since 1999, though frontman Jeff Magnum did feature Neutral Milk Hotel material in his recent solo shows.

The band announced that a portion of proceeds from the tour will go Children Of The Blue Sky, a charity that works with children in Mongolia.
