Hotly-tipped Local Natives in London jaunt

SXSW winners (i.e. the ones people went on about the most) Local Natives are heading to London this month for three dates.

Not being ludicrously wealthy, FFS didn’t make it over to America for SXSW. But lots of our favourite bands were over there including Peggy Sue who raved about Local Natives on their myspace blog.

As if that wasn’t enough to convince us, we came across this video of their cover of Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel. Look: he’s playing a TREE!

The band are in England next week for their performance at Latitude festival on 17th July and will take in three London dates before that. Including a Chess Club show with Peggy Sue and Kurran and the Wolfnotes at the Borderline on 16th July.

Catch them at one of these:

13th July: Rockfeedback at the Lexington with Your Twenties and Kurran and the Wolfnotes (tickets)

14th July: Supporting Of Montreal at Shepherds Bush Empire (tickets)

16th July: Chess Club show at the Borderline with Peggy Sue and Kurran and the Wolfnotes (tickets)

17th July: Latitude Festival
