Alessi, Peggy Sue, The Leisure Society for gig at Brighton stately home

The Brighton-based Willkommen Collective – which includes The Leisure Society, The Miserable Rich, Sons of Noel and Adrien and more – have moved their mini festival from one stately home to another and tickets are now available.

As we told you a while ago, the collective planned to hold the gig at Charleston Farmhouse – second home to many in the Bloomsbury Group – but due to “unforseen circumstances” it has been moved to the stunning Stanmer House, which has two performance areas.

The venue is nestled away in the middle of a Sussex nature reserve, which sounds very nice ‘n’ all but as us modern folk fans tend not to own horses on which to gallop about the countryside, you’ll be pleased to hear it’s only ten minutes’ walk away from Falmer train station.

Already on the bill are Alessi’s Ark, Peggy Sue, Sons of Noel and Adrien and The Leisure Society. The second stage means more acts will be added, and the Willkommen chaps have some very exciting announcements up their tweedy sleeves.

The gig will be held on the 5th July. Tickets are on sale now here for a bargainous £12. We recommend you snap them up early. This one’s too special to miss.
