News | Peggy Sue announce new album and free download

Peggy Sue by Anika Mottershaw

The wonderful Peggy Sue have announced the release of their second album Acrobats on 12 September.

You know what that means? It’s the SAME DAY as Laura Marling’s new record AND FFS’s 3rd birthday. All we need is Joni Mitchell to bake us a cake and Bob Dylan to sew us some bunting and we’ll be the happiest folkers that ever were.

But we digress… Rosa, Olly and Katy’s new record was produced by EELS and PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish. The new sound is darker, more electric and incredibly atmospheric, and of course features Rosa and Katy’s incredible vocals.

Peggy Sue will be heading out on a UK tour to support the record.

Mon 12th LONDON, LEXINGTON (release party with support from LAURA GIBSON)
Wed 14th WINCHESTER, RAILWAY
Thu 15th BRISTOL, LOUISIANA
Sat 17th MANCHESTER, DEAF INSTITUTE
Sun 18th LEEDS, BRUDENELL
