Brian’s Mixtape | The relationship curve

When Harry Met Sally

Dear readers,

It’s time for another silly yearly traditional that has been forever marred by the greed and capitalism that has modern society so relentlessly in its grasp. As a sensible owl I could not possibly approve of Valentine’s Day, but I do realise that feeling loved, and telling someone you love them, causes a sort of fuzzy, fluffy feeling inside, in addition to the usual out.

Nevertheless, love doesn’t always make you feel fluffy, so today I felt the need to tell the full story through the medium of a playlist about the highs and lows of relationships. Loneliness, desire, bliss, obsession, adoration, heartbreak and acceptance all take to the stage, every one as important an emotion to register as the other. Let us all remember that life is, in fact, a rollercoaster, and one must just ride it.

Yours truthfully,

Brian
