#269 Ned Roberts – Blues #6

There is a lot more than just 5,300 miles separating York from Los Angeles, but Ned Roberts has bridged the gap in an extraordinarily quick time. When he used to play the pubs and clubs inside York’s ancient city walls he was playing the odd Dylan cover, but from there he was discovered by producer Luther Russell and whisked to the bright lights of the City of Angels to begin work on his debut album. ‘Blues #6’ is the second cut to emerge from these sessions, and features Sarabeth Tucek on vocals for good measure.
