#73 Caitlin Park – Baby Teeth

Sydney’s Caitlin Park is in the UK this week to introduce us to her delightful record Milk Annual, which she released back home in 2011. Her engaging folktronica is given extra life by an array of samples and abstract sounds which come from her love of cult films, shown off on the single ‘Baby Teeth’. The record includes performances from the likes of Aidan Roberts and Peter Broderick, who also co-wrote one of the songs. The only shame is that it took so long for it to arrive on these shores, but better late than never. You can catch Caitlin this week at the following shows.

Thursday 16 May – The Birdcage, BRISTOL
Friday 17 May – Queens Bar, BRIGHTON (GREAT ESCAPE FESTIVAL)
Saturday 18 May – Union Record Store, LEWES
Thursday 23 May – Cellar, OXFORD
