Siobhan Wilson released her album, There are no saints, earlier this year and it’s really rather good. Siobhan combines accessible, emotional songwriting with strong musicianship across several instruments. And of course, her voice which shifts between style, intensity, and even language, from song to song. In fact, There are no saints is my personal album of 2017. So when the chance came up to record a session with Siobhan, between her 6 Music session for Cerys Matthews and a headline gig in London, I didn’t take much persuading.

The first song from the session is ‘It must have been the moon’. There are no saints is available on Bandcamp as well as the usual other places.

Siobhan’s already working on her second album, due next year, and is running a Kickstarter to help make it happen, which has a couple of weeks to run. And finally, you can keep up to date with Siobhan on Twitter and Facebook.
