Johnny Flynn to warm your cockles with winter headline tour

16 July 2010
By Lois Jeary

johnnyflynnIt may seem that summer is nearly over before it has even begun, but despair ye not, because this winter Johnny Flynn embarks on a UK headline tour, and I can think of no better companion on a cold winter’s night than his well-crafted folk tales of old.

As previously reported on FFS (we’re nothing if not big fans of Mr. Flynn), after releasing his next single ’Barnacled Warship’ on August 16th, and supporting Mumford & Sons on tour this October, Johnny and his band The Sussex Wit will play a number of shows around the country in December, including London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Pre-sale tickets for the headline tour are available now from www.johnny-flynn.com, and tickets will go on general sale fom all the usual places on Friday 16th July.

Johnny Flynn and The Sussex Wit:

SAT 04 DEC - BIRMINGHAM Academy 2
SUN 05 DEC - MANCHESTER Club Academy
TUE 07 DEC – EDINBURGH Liquid Rooms
THU 09 DEC - BRISTOL Trinity Center
FRI 10 DEC - LONDON Shepherd’s Bush Empire
SAT 11 DEC - BRIGHTON St George’s Church
SUN 12 DEC - EXETER The Phoenix
