News | Patch & the Giant curate a Christmas show in London

A Folky Christmas 2013 The Gallery Cafe London

One of our favourite new bands Patch & the Giant are putting on a Christmas extravaganza, with a line up featuring tons of the artists who are on this year’s For Folk’s Sake It’s Christmas record.

The band have teamed up with their good pals at Before The Goldrush to put on this show at the Gallery Cafe in Bethnal Green. And as well as a performance from Patch, revellers will be treated to sets from Sophie Jamieson, Worry Dolls, Laish, Inti Rowland and Joe Innes & the Cavalcade, all of whom feature on our Christmas album.

The brilliant Josephine Clark and Ben Walker will be headlining one of the stages. The folktastic duo have just released their own rather fabulous festive record, called Midwinter. They donated a song to our first ever For Folk’s Sake It’s Christmas record back in 2010.

Also on the jam-packed bill are Nick Edward Harris, Andrew Butler, Stephen Hallam, Abbey Bowden, The Lost Cavalry, Lucy Cait, Slow Wolf, Daniel & the Lion and Green Diesel.

Tickets are just £8 in advance, and available from We Got Tickets.
