Theoretical Girl album release and London gigs

Theoretical Girl’s debut album, Divided, is released today, and this auspicious occasion will be celebrated with a launch party at The Lexington before the lady herself puts in a free instore performance at Pure Groove this Wednesday.

Theoretical Girl (a.k.a. Amy Turnnidge) has put together an album of 12 songs, “12 tales of unrequited love, mistakes and regrets … juxtaposed against twisting melodies and grooves”.  She’ll be joined at the Lexington tonight by Horse and Condor for the official album release from 7:30pm, for the not-so-princely sum of £5.

When we tell you that this evening will be ‘summer fete’ themed, incorporating cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and cream and Pimm’s (accept no imitations) AND a lucky dip you’ll see that this is unquestionably a spiffing way to start of your week.

If you can’t make it tonight, never fear: she’s playing a free instore at Pure Groove, Farringson on Wednesday 19th from 6:30pm.  You could, of course, go to both.  We might well ourselves.
