Festibelly to Host Folk Off

10 August 2009
By Lynn Roberts

Festibelly, the one day festival- extravaganza in Hampshire is set to host a ‘folk off’ this year. The plan is to have a show down at the end of the event with 5 of the best acoustic acts they can find. They are then going to throw them on stage and set up the competition in an attempt to steal the title of the ‘master of unplugged wizardry’. The fans then decide their fate….

If you think you have what it takes to join in the folk off this year all you need to do is send an mp3 of you performing acoustically to
folkoff@festibelly.com
The 5 best entries chosen by the judges will get to play on stage at Festibelly. The event is happening on 29th August in Lymington, Hampshire so you must get your entries sent by 3pm on the 16th August.

Other acts performing at Festibelly include James Yuill, Micachu and the shapes, Brassroots, Itchy Feet DJ’s and Laurel Collective- so well worth a visit, and at only £25 it’s a bit of a bargain too!
