End of the Road line-up proper swoon-worthy

6 May 2009
By Helen True

End of the Road has a very special place in the hearts and minds of the FFS collective, as it was at this splendid festival last year that we began spreading the love that is our website.  EOTR 2008 was just lovely – small, brilliantly curated and covered in fairy lights and ribbons.  See our write-up here.  This year looks set to be even more folktastic, if such a feat is possible.

We’ll just share the biggest and most exciting names on the line-up with you so that our wee fingers don’t fall off.  Here goes: Fleet Foxes, Explosions in the Sky, Mumford and Sons, The Acorn, Broken Family Band, Herman Dune, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, First Aid Kit and Darren Hayman.  The thought of not going has caused some music lovers at FFS HQ to cry over their cupcakes.

End of the Road takes place from the 11th to 13th of September at Larmer Tree Gardens in North Dorset.  For information, tickets, and to meet the EOTR peacock, click here.
